“This painting began life as an incomplete composition of poppies that I was uninspired to finish. As a social media project I chose to obliterate it live on Facebook and repaint it from new reference. Over several weeks it was reborn as a powerhouse of red! It was such an enjoyable experience to see it evolve from a canvas of Burnt Umber to this amazingly powerful flower.” Karen Hollis
